Good morning Friar Nation! This will be the first of many blogs this summer that will give you all a deeper insight on playing in the Major League Lacrosse while also getting to recruit the future of the Providence Lacrosse program! I am on the flight back from Denver after one of the most difficult games I have ever played. It has been a long time since we have taken such a bad loss, but I do think there are a lot of positives we can take from the tough loss to the Outlaws this weekend. We were both humbled and made aware of our weaknesses.
A bye week couldn’t come soon enough. Memorial Day weekend will allow us allow to step back and re-evaluate what we need to do to be successful the remainder of the summer. The best part about playing this sport is if you take a deep look in the mirror, you can make the changes needed to be successful pretty quickly. The challenge is being willing to admit your faults and adapt. I can’t wait to get back out on the field in a few weeks, but for now, back to recruiting! With high school playoffs around the corner, the coaching staff will hit the road looking for the future FRIARS! Please continue to tune in, as I got a good feeling the future is bright for the RRRRRRRattlers!
